Sweet Peas Daycare
As the oldest continuously run educational institution, The Sweet Peas Daycare remains committed to providing an academically rigorous education to students who will walk out of school ready for lives of leadership and service to their community. From literacy to music and art, each day at the Sweet Peas daycare is filled with activities that are both enriching and fun.
We strive to be committed to the students we are privileged to serve, in our alumni association, our dedicated, talented faculty and staff. We also take pride in having the most active and helpful group of partners, visionary parents, well-wishers, alumni and friends.
About the Director
My name is Maria Hernandez, my family and I would like to welcome you to join us at Sweet Peas Daycare (LLC). Education is a major part of our family’s lives. I am always encouraging my children to further their education by continuing school myself. I have my CDA and am currently enrolled in Purdue University.
I have been working in the Early Childhood Education field for more than 17 years now , and my family and I are excited to begin our journey with Sweet Peas Daycare (LLC). Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for the children and families.

Mission Statement
Sweet Peas Daycare LLC mission is to encourage children to express themselves by providing fun and safe environment for the children as well as experienced and energetic teachers. We also want to teach our children that learning is fun and that every moment is a learning experience.

We have a culture that is modern, relevant, and inspires students to have a brighter future. We are determined in our approach to learning, are creative in our thinking, and bold in our ambitions.
Our Philosophy
Our role as childcare provider is to provide our children with a positive learning experience that will benefit them in the future. Albert Einstein once said that “Play is the highest form of research” and we will work hard to not only teach our children whar they will need to prepare them to continue their education, but also allow them to independently grow as people so that they can be ready to begin their journey to become high-functioning members of society.
